The Hill of Crosses (Kryžių kalnas) – Is a small hill near the city Siauliai (Lithuania), covered with hundreds of thousands of crosses. Each of them represents people’s desire to express their will for peace, goodwill and wishes for their loved ones. This absolutely unique place became a Lithuanian pilgrimage centre and a sacred place for all the guests of the country. Everyday people are coming to visit and place crosses to turn their good will and prayers into something tangible and become a small part of this huge historical monument.
